Annual Banquet
This event is a celebration of all of our businesses and organizations that make Winsted great. Dinner & entertainment are always exciting and our Awards program gives credit to those who had an exceptional year.
March & April
Our Women’s Expo is held in late March or early April at the Blue Note Ballroom. Hosting over 60 vendors it has everything from A to Z in women’s products. It usually runs from 9a to 1p.

Another spring event is the Easter Egg Hunt held the Saturday before Easter. It brings hundreds of kids together to pick up over 3,000 eggs filled with candy and golden eggs filled with $$. Held at Hailin Park, It starts at 11:00a.There will also be the Easter Bunny!

We know the importance of our volunteer organizations and host this event to get them together to talk about their common goals. It is held the 3rd Thursday of July.
To further assist these organizations, we offer a quarterly Civic Calendar to advertise their events. Posters and table tents are printed and distribute to businesses and public places around town.

August
Brat Busters is held the second Friday of August at Mill Reserve Park and kicks off the Summer Festival Weekend. This event offer a kids Treasure Hunt on the beach of Winsted lake as hundreds of dollars in quarters are buried in the sand. A free inflatable fun bounce is also offered. Brats & hot dogs are served along with beer, wine, soda and root beer floats made by the Winsted Ambassadors.

Winsted Summer Festival is a weekend full of fun activities for all ages! There are canoe races on Winsted Lake, fireworks, games, parade, music and lots more! It’s a fun filled weekend that brings families and friends together to celebrate summer!

Business Trick or Treat is held the Friday before Halloween. This event has both businesses and organizations participating. They hand out candy which invites hundreds of kids and their families downtown and throughout our community giving them great exposure.

Winsted Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual scarecrow contest with the local businesses. It starts at the beginning of October and voting is open to the public which ends on Halloween.

December
This is held the first weekend of December. Friday hosts many open houses for businesses and organizations around town. Saturday starts with our Antique Snowmobile Show & Swap Meet at 10:00a followed by Santa, Kids Fun & Bake Sale all at the Blue Note Ballroom. The evening kicks off with the Tree Lighting Ceremony and then Lighted Parade through downtown. There are many additional events hosted by our many civic groups so just look for the posters around town.
